Begin exfoliating gently 3x per week and moisturizing daily with products you normally use. If you do not have products, an exfoliating glove & any lightweight, unscented moisturizer will suffice. We will introduce you to professional grade exfoliants & moisturizers available for purchase during your appointment. Drink lots of water leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated. Don't stress! You will love your results.

How do I prep for my 1st Brazilian?

You may still get sugared on your period, we do it everyday! Please be sure to wear a fresh tampon or cup. You may be a bit more sensitive on your period, so keep that in mind. If you cannot wear tampons/cups or if you just prefer to not to get serviced on your period, please cancel before the 24 hr mark. The cancellation policy will not be waived due to your period.

What do I do if I get my period before my appt?

Your hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice to be extracted; however the longer, the better. We want as many cycles of hair to be extracted as possible. Your first appointment will not give you perfect results, especially if you are a shaver. As you keep coming consistently, your hair growth cycles will sync and we will be able to extract all of them at the same time. A monthly sugaring schedule is ideal to see the best results.

How long does my hair need to be to get sugared?

Sugaring is completely safe during pregnancy! The ingredients are just sugar, lemon, and water. Always let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding so we can use pregnancy safe backbar products before and after your service.
